[origin: EP1167632A2] The vibrator, to act on objects to be rammed home, has a linear drive unit (7) linked to at least one piston rod (8e,8f) at an outer frame (2), which has a relative movement against the carrier frame (6) on the oscillation line (4). It has a sprung support against the carrier frame. The outer frame carries the holder (3) linked to the rammed object on one side, and the assembly for the carrier on the other side. The linear drive has at least one synchronous cylinder (8), with the piston rods acting on the holder on one side and the outer frame on the other side. The control (9) for the cylinder has a control rotor (10), with an adjustable speed, and two rotary valves (11,12) to give a selective connection with the tank line (20) and the pressure line (19).
