The network has a number of nodes (N1,N4) that can transmit data in a predefined sequence for any predefined duration. Several or all nodes can output a defined synchronization signal for synchronizing the nodes at a reference time point. The synchronization signal has a time characteristic and/or duration such that if signals output by different nodes coincide or overlap a synchronization signal is identified.

Es wird ein synchrones Netzwerk mit einer Vielzahl von Knoten, die in einer vorgegebenen Reihenfolge für eine vorgegebene Dauer Daten zueinander übertragen können. Das beschriebene Netzwerk zeichnet sich dadurch aus, daß mehrere oder alle Knoten ein einen Bezugszeitpunkt für die Synchronisation der Knoten definierendes Synchronisationssignal ausgeben können. <IMAGE>
