Abstract (en)
[origin: WO0063454A1] An alloy on the basis of 40-55 wt. % nickel and iron becomes corrosion-proof by alloying it with 0.5-6 wt. % chromium. The surfaces of the components produced by said alloy are hardened by nitrating. The alloy is particularly useful for the use in relays and clockworks. The concentration of Ca, Mg and S together amounts to less than 0.009 wt. %.
