[origin: EP1170036A2] A liquid extinguisher container (1) has a liquid level sensor (3) with an output signal fed to a controller (4) that picks up output signals from fire detectors (5) such as smoke, gas, thermal, UV or infrared detectors. Atomizing jets (7) connect to a gas line (8) linked to a source of inert gas (2) via a pressure reducer (9) and a magnetic valve (10) operated by the controller.
