Abstract (en)
Process for removing organic impurities from the surface of rollers (10) or belts comprises directing a stream (16) of an atmospheric plasma onto the surface. Independent claims are also included for a device for removing organic impurities from the surface of rollers which comprises at least one plasma jet (14) moving in an axial direction to the roller and having an opening (18) directed toward the surface of the roller and for a device for removing organic impurities from the surface of continuous belts which comprises at least one plasma jet moving perpendicular to the transport direction of the belt.
