Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1170428A1] Run-off channel (1) formed as a channel profile and made from sheet material comprises holding and fixing devices (8) protruding from the outer sides of the run-off channel walls (2) and an inner space forming the run-off channel walls and having a depression (13). The free ends (6) of the run-off channel are designed as shoulders which are a distance apart to form an opening (3). The outer walls of the opening extend initially outward and then directly inward toward the base (12) of the run-off channel. An Independent claim is also included for a process for manufacturing a run-off channel by bending sheet material.
