Camshaft comprises an arrangement for hydraulically adjusting the relative position of rotation of the camshaft by influencing the control times of the valves. The arrangement includes a drive wheel (16) for the camshaft, a bucket wheel, and an impeller (19) positioned with radial vanes (18) in the cells of the bucket wheel. A locking device effective in the start phase of the internal combustion engine is provided between the bucket wheel and the impeller. The locking device comprises an axial spring-loaded hydraulic piston (37) positioned in one of the vanes of the impeller and a recess (40) for the piston. The piston is loaded by a pressure channel (42) of the vane, in which a two-way valve connected to pressure spaces of one of the cells is effective. Preferred Features: The pressure channel runs approximately tangentially between the pressure spaces in the vane. The two-way valve has a ball which is guided in the pressure channel in an axial direction.

Diese Nockenwelle umfasst eine Einrichtung zum hydraulischen Verstellen der relativen Drehlage der Nockenwelle zwecks Beeinflussung der Steuerzeiten der Ventile, welche Einrichtung ein Antriebsrad, ein Zellenrad und ein Flügelrad aufweist. Das Flügelrad ist mit Flügeln innerhalb von Zellen des Zellenrads relativbeweglich gelagert. Zwischen Zellenrad und Flügelrad ist eine in der Startphase der Brennkraftmaschine wirksame Verriegelungseinrichtung vorgesehen. Die Verriegelungseinrichtung wird durch einen federbelasteten, hydraulisch betätigten sowie in einer der Flügel des Flügelrads untergebrachten Kolben und eine korrespondierende in einer zu einer aus Antriebsrad und Flügelrad bestehenden Baueinheit vorgesehenen Aufnahme für den Kolben gebildet. Zur Optimierung der Verriegelungseinrichtung wird der mit der Aufnahme zusammenarbeitende Kolben des Flügels von einem Druckkanal des Flügels beaufschlagt, in dem ein an Druckräume einer der Zellen angeschlossenes Wechselventil angeschlossen ist. <IMAGE>
