[origin: WO0160240A1] The invention relates to a method for producing intraocular lenses or contact lenses. The inventive method comprises the following steps: a) mechanically forming a lens blank in such a way that said blank is suitable for correcting an ametropic defective vision, b) measuring the aberration of an eye to be corrected, c) calculating an ablation profile (62) with regard to the lens blank (60) and on the basis of the measured aberration and d) ablating material of the lens blank according to the calculated ablation profile and by means of laser radiation.
