[origin: WO0065098A2] Methods and compositions have been developed for nucleotide extension of primers immobilized within gel pads on a microchip using multibase primers or multiple sets of primers, or combinations thereof. Molecules or parts of molecules are identified. The single base extension was amplified by carrying out the reaction under elevated temperature.
