[origin: WO0065159A1] The invention relates to a device for compensating relative vertical displacements between ground surfaces and sealing mechanisms for built-in structures such as shafts (1) or slide rod systems (28) with protective cases, these sealing mechanisms having a frame (5). The motion is transmitted by means of a plate-shaped dragging body (6) on which the frame (5) of the sealing mechanism is supported. Said dragging body (6) extends horizontally into the ground structure and transmits the vertical changes that occur there to the frame (5) of the sealing mechanism. The invention also relates to an auxiliary device for assembling the inventive device, comprising a spacer (20) for mounting the telescopic part (11') at a predetermined distance above the built-in structure (1) or the standing body (17) connected thereto and a cover (21) which can be placed on the spacer (20).
