Abstract (en)
Process for continuously casting steel comprises carrying out frequency analysis of casting meniscus fluctuations whilst transforming the casting meniscus signal into a frequency level and adapting the casting and/or operating parameters. An Independent claim is also included for a device for continuously casting steel comprising a signal amplifier (10), an analysis device (13a) operating independently of the casting meniscus signal (11) and the frequency level, and a decision device (14) connected to via a control device (22) to actuators, a servo component or regulating element for treating the casting strand (4).

Bei einem Verfahren zum Stranggießen von Metallen, insbesondere von Stahl, in einer Stranggießkokille 1, unter Vermeidung von unzulässigen Gießspiegelschwankungen, können ausreichend genaue Werte für zulässige Gießspiegelschwankungen dahingehend ermittelt und verwertet werden, indem eine Frequenzanalyse der Gießspiegelschwankungen durchgeführt wird, wobei das Gießspiegelsignal 11 auf die Frequenzebene 12 transformiert wird und aufgrund der Analysen-Ergebnisse die Gieß- und / oder Betriebsparameter angepasst werden. <IMAGE>
