[origin: EP1172506A2] The switch stop for a multi-bolt lock, as used in sliding doors, comprises a longitudinally displaceable thrust bar (2) behind a support rail (1) with a long hole (4). A bolt penetrates the long hole and a bore in the thrust bar, which it extends over when the door is opened and can be pressed back against the force of a spring (7) when the door is closed. The bolt is fixed on a bridge (5) displaceably located in a housing and carries a securing bolt (8) parallel to the bolt. The securing bolt, with the opened door and inwardly drawn bolts, penetrates an aperture in the thrust bar and with the inwardly pushed bolt, i.e. with the door closed, disengages from the thrust bar. In order to set the switch stop out of function, a screw (12) is provided, which draws the bridge against the rear wall of the housing, causing the securing bolt permanently to be disengaged from the thrust bar.
