[origin: EP1172509A2] The deflection unit consists of a deflection housing (28) onto which connect on both sides the ends of two drive rods (22). An elastic deflector element (12) connecting the ends of both rods together is located so as to be displaceable longitudinally in the housing. The deflector element is guided inside a closed channel (16) inside the unit. At least one additional closed channel is provided in the unit, in which the end of one of the drive rods is guided. Both channels have a connection opening for a connection member (18) which connects the deflector element to the drive rods.
