[origin: EP1172517A1] The roller shutter, comprising a slatted panel that rolls onto and off a supporting shaft (2), has the shaft ends connected to the shaft drive bearings (4) by a locking mechanism (21) which fixes the shutter at the end of its travel. The locking mechanism has a catch (23) able to move radially and engage with notches (24) having stop edges (26) inside a ring (25) lying coaxially with the shaft.
