A system for heating a room of a building comprising a floor which extends between an upper floor level and a lower floor level, which system comprises a heating boiler at least including a burner and a heat exchanger for heating a medium which is transported by means of a network of heating pipes extending from said heat exchanger for delivering heat at a point inside said room which is remote from the heating boiler, wherein the heating boiler is disposed below the upper floor level, in a housing especially intended for that purpose, whose interior is sealed substantially hermetically from said room, and which comprises walls which surround at least the heating boiler. <IMAGE>
