Abstract (en)
Percussion instrument, e.g. a drum, hand drum, bongo, conga, etc., comprises a base body (2) having at least one opening over which a skin (3) is stretched. At least one bar (17) is fixed off-center across the opening and below the skin touching the skin to produce two playing surfaces of different sizes and sounds. Preferred Features: A damping strip made of a relatively soft material is arranged between the upper side of the bar and the under side of the skin. The bar is height-adjustable and/or removable.

Bei einem Schlaginstrument, wie Trommel, Handtrommel, Bongo, Conga oder dergleichen umfassend einen Grundkörper mit wenigstens einer Öffnung, über die ein zu schlagendes Fell gespannt ist, ist zur Erzielung neuer Klangvariationen und Spielmöglichkeiten vorgesehen, daß wenigstens ein Steg (17) unterhalb des Fells (3) an diesem anliegend insbesondere außermittig quer die Öffnung überbrückend befestigt ist. <IMAGE>
