[origin: EP1048991A1] The watchstrap (2) is terminated by a ring (20) which is entered into a throat (11) formed in the lower part of the watchcas (1). A flap (3) may be rotated about an axis (12) located inside the watchstrap ring (20) to lock the ring in position inside th throat (11). Watchstrap removal is facilitated by a fingertip cavity (13) in the watchcase.
