[origin: WO0067274A1] The invention relates to a circuit breaker in which a manual command organ (1) acts upon at least one movable contact arm (4) via a switch latch, said contact arm representing a pair of contacts (5, 6). The switch latch is configured as a zone of latching between a latch (2) and a trip lever (3) in a kinematic system. According to the invention, a spacer element (7) provides a decoupling distance (8) in the direction (9) in which due to the kinematic system a dynamic force is possible due to a switching impulse once an engagement in said direction is brought about.
