Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1174053A2] The toothbrush has a brush (3) with bristles (4) fixed by a turned or twisted holding wire (5). The brush itself is mounted rotatable about its central axis relative to the handle (2). The brush has at its part engaging in the handle a circular section bearing (5a) axially fixed in a recess (6) in the handle and with so much play in the cross direction that the bearing can rotate in the recess with less force than is required to turn the twisted wire (5).
