[origin: EP1174165A2] The ski binding includes two rotatable spring-loaded socket elements (11) which provide the connection with the ski or snowboard binding and which can be biased with pressure independently of each other through spring-loaded setting devices. The socket elements are arranged in the toe area of the second binding part (3) which fits on the ski. The holding region (12) of the socket element engages with a projection (13) of a binding part (2) mounted in the sole area of the boot.
