Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1174574A1] The operating mechanism (1) for a sliding door (2) controls the sliding, locking and unlocking of the door. It consists of a single part cut from a rigid metal sheet and comprises a key neck (3) mounted to slide in a groove (4) in the door upright (5). The key neck comprises means for limiting its sliding in the groove and is connected to a handle (6) which is folded so as to cover the edge (7) of the upright and project outwards from it so as to be accessible by the user. The base also has a bolt (8) for the locking and unlocking of the door.
