[origin: EP1174617A2] The axial piston machine has a drum-shaped cylinder block (9) in a driving or driven shaft, with pistons (10) in borings in it, supported by spherical heads on a controllable-angle swashplate acting on a control body with reversing control regions. It has a boring which comes out in a reversing control region of the control body and which is connected by a line to the high pressure side.
