The electrical connection unit has a unit (1) with a channel (2) and an end (8) with a slot for a male unit (4). The channel has an opening to fit a grip (7) and a grip guide and lock mechanism. An opening (18) in the grip guide with two side sections (19,20) holds the conductor loop (6) in place with the male unit applied.
