[origin: WO0053060A1] The invention concerns a configuration for carrying a child upon the shoulders of an adult. The device comprises a seat section (21) partly encircling the neck of the adult, and leg sections (22) extending from the end portion's semi-circular seat section. When in use the leg sections reach down over the chest of the adult. The seat section (21) is a cushion saddle (28) and the leg section (22) is equipped with stirrups (12) or footrests for the child's feet, said stirrups carrying at least partly the child's weight.
