[origin: FR2792552A1] The obturator body is generally cylindrical, and fits into a cylindrical blind bore in the nozzle head. The liquid is sprayed through a fine cylindrical bore leading from the flat end of the large-diameter blind bore and the conical part (9) of the obturator may be advanced into the fine bore to block it. The fluid may flow toward the nozzle through channels (6) between longitudinal ribs on the sides of the obturator body, and then may flow through skewed channels (8) in the front face of the obturator body to impart a swirling motion to the liquid.
