Abstract (en)
[origin: WO0059057A1] During operation of a high-temperature fuel cell (1) corrosion to the interconnector on the anode side is a problem. The inventive method substantially avoids this problem by using at least two metallic functional layers (8, 9) which are applied one on top of the other to the interconnector (2). The lower functional layer (9) contains copper and the upper functional layer (8) contains nickel. Functional layers (8, 9) of this type establish a potential barrier for oxygen ions with respect to the interconnector (2).
