Abstract (en)
Process for chromizing an inner surface of a component comprises: re preparing a mixture (4) made from chromium granules and an activator; (b) heating the mixture to a temperature to form a coating gas comprising gaseous CrCl; (c) drawing off the gas; and (d) bombarding the inner surface (3) of the component with the gas forming a chromium-containing diffusion layer. An Independent claim is also included for a device for chromizing an inner surface of a component comprising a container (5) for receiving a mixture of chromium granules and an activator and having an outlet (7) for the coating gas, and an apparatus for holding the component. The mixture preferably contains approximately 99 wt.% chromium granules and approximately 1 wt.% activator. The activator is NH4Cl or HCl. The mixture is heated to approximately 1,200 degrees C.

Ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zum Chromieren einer inneren Oberfläche eines Bauteils, bei dem die zu beschichtende innere Oberfläche nicht mit einem das Beschichtungsgas bildenden Pulver in Kontakt gebracht wird, mit den Schritten: Bereitstellen eines Gemisches (4) aus Chrom-Granulat und einem Aktivator, Erwärmen des Gemisches (4) auf eine Temperatur, dass sich ein im wesentlichen gasförmiges CrCI umfassendes Beschichtungsgas bildet, Ableiten des Beschichtungsgases und Beaufschlagen der inneren Oberfläche (3) des Bauteils (1) mit dem Beschichtungsgas unter Bildung einer chromhaltigen Diffusionsschicht (Fig. 1). <IMAGE>
