Abstract (en)
The sawtooth clothing, for a roller mantle, is a wire (56) in a spiral winding, with a blade section structured with triangular sawteeth. The wire blade section has a height of ≤ 2 mm and preferably 1.0-2.0 mm. The sawtooth clothing wire has triangular teeth (58) with a tooth height which is less than the height of the wire blade (60,62) section. The wedge angle ( beta ) of each tooth is 30-120 degrees and preferably 80 degrees . The cutting angle ( alpha ) of each tooth is (-) 20 degrees to (-) 60 degrees and preferably (-) 40 degrees . Each tooth has the shape of an equilateral triangle. The teeth are distributed at intervals (p) of 3-5 mm, with a larger tooth interval than the height of the wire blade section. An Independent claim is included for a filling shaft with a feed roller, fitted with a sawtooth clothing, to feed material to a carding machine with a productivity of ≥ 100 kg/hr. of sliver. The feed roller has a reversible drive.

Die Erfindung sieht eine Einzugswalzengarnitur in der Form eines gewickelten Drahtes vor, wobei der Draht eine Fusspartie und eine von der Fusspartie herausragende Blattpartie aufweist und die Blattpartie mit dreieckförmigen Zähne gebildet ist. Die Blattpartie weist eine (Blatt)Höhe weniger als 2mm und vorzugsweise zwischen 1.0 und 2.0 mm auf. Gemäss der heute herrschenden Herstellungspraxis ist die Zahnhöhe vorzugsweise niedriger als die Blatthöhe. <IMAGE>
