Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1176278A1] The intermediate support consists of a connecting peg (12) fixed to the frame of the door or window and a shoulder (15) on the fixed surrounding frame (5). The interacting surfaces (17,18) of the peg and shoulder are approximately semi-cylindrical in shape and positioned more or less concentrically with the axis (8) of the hinge, allowing for an adjustment of the door or window relative to the frame. The peg and shoulder can be made from metal or a synthetic material.
