Abstract (en)
The cylinder crankcase of an internal combustion engine has a charge air compressor support (22) constructed as an exhaust gas turbocharger and formed in one piece with the crankcase. The charge air compressor support is constructed on the crankcase in a center region on the transition from a crankcase section (18) to cylinder block section (14). The support has a flange section (24) for attachment of the turbocharger. An Independent claim is included for an internal combustion engine, especially for a motor vehicle and preferably with an exhaust gas turbocharger.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Zylinderkurbelgehäuse (10) einer Brennkraftmaschine, insbesondere eines Kraftfahrzeuges, mit einem Abgasturbolader und einer Abgasturboladerstütze zum Haltern des Abgasturboladers am Kurbelgehäuse (10). Hierbei ist die Abgasturboladerstütze (22) einstückig mit dem Kurbelgehäuse (10) ausgebildet. <IMAGE>
