[origin: EP1177984A2] The heat insulated container comprises side (1), bottom (7) and top (8) wall elements constructed to be interconnected by plug-in elements. The plug-in arrangement is formed by a slotted recess (10) on one of the abutting wall elements and which accommodates a correspondingly formed tongue-shaped component (12) on the adjoining wall element. The width of the recess is smaller than the thickness of a wall element. Each wall element has a flattish recess in which is fitted an evacuated foil-covered heat insulating panel (23).
