Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1178174A2] The fittings for a sliding door or window, with a fixed frame (10) and a moving panel (20) which can slide and tilt, has a housing (40) with at least one roller (41) at the panel which can tilt around a horizontal axis (50) parallel to the running rail (15) at the frame. The carrier (30) is mounted at the rabbet (23) zone of the panel, and forms a fixed panel component with the roller housing. When the panel is moved between the closed and tilted positions, the roller housing takes up one of two tipped settings against the carrier where the rollers are at the rail or detached from it.
