Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1178211A2] The cam plate comprises a pressure port (3), a suction port (4) and a bleed facility in the form of a slot-type cut-out (6) in a side face of the cam plate. The bleed slot has a continuously changing cross section over its length. The pressure port and suction port are arc-shaped, while the bleed slot may be curved or linear in form. The bleed slot ends in a through-hole formed in the cam plate. The depth of the bleed slot corresponds to the depth of the pressure port in the cam plate. The bleed slot extends over approximately a quarter of the circumference of the cam plate. An Independent claim is included for a cell vane pump equipped with the proposed cam plate.
