[origin: DE10033402A1] The device has a housing (9) with inlet and outlet openings (1,2) and an impeller wheel (3,3',3'') rotatably mounted in a chamber on a drive shaft (13). The chamber consists of at least two parts with a sealing element (5) between them that seals the inner chamber volume. One chamber part has a stop (10) on which the other chamber part is supported so that the distance between the two chamber parts is defined by the supporting joint.
