[origin: EP1178216A2] The plastic pump casing has at least one connecting pin (10a,10b) located in the inlet area (9). The pins extend between the axially opposite casing walls (12,13) and are fastened to both these walls. The connecting pins may be cast on the casing walls on one or both sides. The pump casing consists of two axially lying halves (2,3) with the connecting pins formed in one piece on one of the halves. The connecting pins may be welded onto the other casing half.
