Abstract (en)

[origin: WO0142543A2] The carbonization of the fabric consisting of cellulosic fibers comprises an initial phase of heat treatment at temperatures of up to 250 to 350 DEG C, with the temperature increasing relatively rapidly, at an average speed of 10 DEG C/min to 60 DEG C/min, an intermediate phase at temperatures of up to 350 to 500 DEG C, with the temperature increasing less rapidly, at an average speed of 2 DEG C/min to 10 DEG C/min and a final phase at temperatures of up to 500 DEG C to 750 DEG C, with the temperature increasing more rapidly again at an average speed of 5 DEG C/min to 40 DEG C/min.
