[origin: EP1179483A1] The container (16), made from a mouldable material such as a plastic by injection or extrusion-blowing and having a base (9), a side wall (10) and a top opening, has the upper edge of its side wall made with two hinges (12, 14) which form a triple-wall rim (11, 13, 15). The hinges are made by lines of reduced thickness compared with the rest of the side wall, with the first hinge (12) lying along the outer edge of an out-turned portion at the top of the side wall.
