The device for withdrawing individual or rows of sheets of printed matter has at least two alternately activated clamping band units (12,14) located symmetrical to the both sides of the incoming stream (6) of sheets. The original feed path ends at the last of the subject clamping band units with regard to the direction of feed. Of the input side deflection rollers of the clamping band units only the upper is withdrawable and this by a piston and cylinder unit.

Ein Gerät (2) zur Entnahme einzelner oder einer Reihe von Flächengebilden (4) aus einem Schuppenstrom (6) solcher Flächengebilde, insbesondere Rotationsdruckprodukte, wobei die entnommenen Flächengebilde von einer Klemmbandeinheit (12, 14) erfaßt und seitwärts abgeführt werden, die an ihrem Einlaufende mindestens eine mit zumindest der Fördergeschwindigkeit dieser Klemmbandeinheit in deren Förderrichtung zurückziehbare Umlenkrolle (40) aufweist, gekennzeichnet sich dadurch, daß zumindest zwei abwechselnd aktivierbare solche Klemmbandeinheiten (12, 14) im wesentlichen symmetrisch zu beiden Seiten des eintreffenden Schuppenstromes (6) angeordnet sind. Damit erübrigt sich eine Stufe in dem Schuppenstrom, in welcher die betreffenden Flächengebilde (4) vorübergehend führungslos wären und so ihre Orientierung verlieren könnten. Das gleiche Gerät (2) ist auch zum Auseinanderziehen versetzt ineinandersteckender gefalzter Druckprodukte geeignet. <IMAGE>
