[origin: WO0175333A1] The invention relates to a gear comprising a continuously variable gear ratio, whereby at least one drive wheel, one following gear and optionally an endless power transmission element are provided as links in a transmission chain, in order to prevent slip and thus improve the transmission of power. To achieve this, the links of the transmission chain have elements whose shape is adapted to one another and which are designed to intermesh in a positive-fit.
