[origin: WO0068108A1] A carton and carton blank for holding one or more articles, for example light bulbs (A), which carton comprises an article engaging panel (14) having opposed side edges (28, 32) and end edges and at least one retaining aperture (46) provided therein for receiving and retaining at least one article (A) such that a portion (B) of the article protrudes therethrough, a tubular arrangement (20, 22, 24) for containing a portion of the or each article (A), first and second side walls (68, 70) extending upwardly from the article engaging panel (14), and away from the tubular arrangement (20, 22, 24) and hingedly connected to said side edges (28, 32) thereof so as to shield the protruding portion (B) whilst allowing access to it.
