[origin: WO0171274A1] The invention concerns an igniter tube (1), in particular for propellant charge (4) of an artillery ammunition (2), consisting of a tubular body (8) for receiving an igniting composition (14). The tubular body (8) comprises at least a receiving surface (25) oriented so as to receive the propellants generated when the propellant charge (4) is ignited, the propellants thereby driving the igniter tube (1). The pressure receiving surface (25) is a disc (20) arranged substantially radial to the tubular body (8).
