Abstract (en)
The system has at least one sensor for picking up sound signals and converting them into electrical signals, an electronic unit for audio signal processing and amplification, an electrical supply unit and at least one electromechanical output converter for mechanical stimulation of the middle and/or inner ear. An impedance measurement arrangement determines the mechanical impedance of the biological load structure coupled to the output converter. The system has at least one sensor (10a-10n) for picking up sound signals ands converting them into corresponding electrical signals, an electronic signal processing unit (12) for audio signal processing and amplification, an electrical supply unit (30) and at least one electromechanical output converter (16) for mechanical stimulation of the middle and/or inner ear. An impedance measurement arrangement (25) determines the mechanical impedance of the biological load structure coupled to the output converter in the implanted state.

Mindestens teilweise implantierbares Hörsystem zur Rehabilitation einer Hörstörung mit mindestens einem Sensor (10) zur Aufnahme von Schallsignalen und deren Umwandlung in entsprechende elektrische Sensorsignale, einer elektronischen Signalverarbeitungseinheit (12; 74, 77) zur Audiosignalverarbeitung und -verstärkung der Sensorsignale, einer elektrischen Energieversorgungseinheit (30), die einzelne Komponenten des Systems mit Strom versorgt, sowie mit mindestens einem elektromechanischen Ausgangswandler (16, 36) zur mechanischen Stimulation des Mittel- und/oder Innenohres). Das Hörsystem ist zur objektiven Bestimmung der Ankopplungsqualität des Ausgangswandlers (16, 36) mit einer Impedanzmessanordnung (25, 38) zum Ermitteln der mechanischen Impedanz der im implantierten Zustand an den Ausgangswandler angekoppelten biologischen Laststruktur versehen. <IMAGE>
