Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1181994A1] The appliance has a toothed pressure roller rotating about a smooth tube (G). The roller has between 7 and 11, pref. between 8 and 10 teeth, and the teeth have flat heads and almost parallel sides. The smooth tube is guided tightly in a guide sleeve (12) in front of an behind the contact with the pressure roller (13). The width of the teeth is the same as, or larger than, the diameter of the tube in a corrugation base. There may be two or more pressure rollers. The teeth have hardened and/or polished heads, or inset hard metal parts.
