Abstract (en)
The machine for the folding of sheets of paper has a folding knife (1) connected to a cycle controlled drive (8), and two folding rollers (2) forming a folding gap between them and which is aligned with the folding knife. The plane of the axes of the folding rollers are inclined at an acute angle of preferably between 3 and 5 degrees to the plane of a folding table. The point of the angle lies on the side of stops (3) for the feed edge of the sheet (6).

Die Vorrichtung zum Falzen von Bogen hat ein mit einem taktgesteuerten Antrieb (8) verbundenes Falzschwert (1) sowie zwei Falzwalzen (2), die zwischen sich einen Falzspalt (7) bilden, der zum Falzschwert (1) fluchtend ausgerichtet ist. Zwischen dem Falzschwert (1) und den zwei Falzwalzen (2) ist ein Falztisch (5) mit einer Durchgangsöffnung (9) für das Falzschwert (1) angeordnet. Zur Erzeugung eines scharfkantig gefalzten Bogens ist die gemeinsame Ebene der Achsen der zwei Falzwalzen (2) zur Falztischebene (12) in einem spitzen Winkel von vorzugsweise 3 bis 5° geneigt. <IMAGE>
