Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1182297A2] The appliance has a housing (1) a rotating distributor (13,14,18) to apply high pressure fluid to the runway surface. The distributor is driven by a drive shaft (6), which also drives a ventilator rotor to generate an underpressure and an air flow within the housing, to remove the loosened dirt via an extraction channel (33). The distributor has an air guide plate (19) and a distribution head (13) at the lower end of the drive shaft. The head has several flushing arms (14), each with a guide plate.
