Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1182299A2] The process uses a tool with a round milling head, which forms an angled milled edge (18,19). The edge is at a distance to the manhole cover (13), so that cover and/or cover support (12) are removeable. A new manhole cover support (21) is fitted into the cut opening with angled milled edges, and a new cover (25) is fitted into the support.
