[origin: EP1182409A1] The device has at least one snow generator (7), at least one mobile piste device (9) and a central computer for controlling the snow generator. The piste device is equipped with a GPS unit for detecting the position of the piste device or snow generator, whereby corresponding position signals are transmitted to the central computer by a signal transmitter.
