[origin: EP1182672A1] The method involves laying individual cables (22) in a hollow chamber (8) of a foam tool (2), which has an upper part (6) and a lower part (4). A vacuum is established between the upper and lower parts and the individual cables are enclosed in foam by introducing a material capable of forming a foam into the chamber.
