[origin: EP1182735A2] The device has preferably plastic terminal housing (5) with a metal earth conductor connecting element in its foot. A metal foot (11) that clamps onto at least one arm (3,4) of the rail (2) is a flat, narrow metal strip. A contact spring (12) has two parallel sprung arms (13) in lateral contact with the metal foot and curved towards one arm of the bearer rail. Independent claims are also included for the following: a metal earth conductor connecting element.
