[origin: WO0068529A1] The invention relates to a device for screwing in fastening elements, especially for fastening insulating material on flat roofs and sawtooth roofs, by means of screws that are stored in bulk in a magazine and that are inserted in a plastic holder that is provided with a feed table or in a washer. Said device has a screwing unit that can be lowered and a device for the fastening elements that marshals the screws into singles and feeds them to the screwing unit. Said marshalling and feeding device can be activated by the lowerable screwing unit. The device is also provided with a holding means which receives the fastening elements before they are screwed tight and then releases them. Said holding means can be displaced by the lifting movement of the screwing unit from an upper dead center to a bottom dead center. The holding means (34) jams the fastening element (65) between the upper dead center O-t and the bottom dead center U-t. The holding means (34) is mounted in a housing (2) which forms the assembly support of the device and on which the screwing unit (4) is mounted in a row with its lifting means and guides and represents a rod-shaped structure.
